David C. McKnight was featured on Fox 2 News on June 27th for a segment about how to make DIY gifts from your own garden. The idea is to keep it simple and have fun: put together a bunch of sunflowers or delphinium, wrap it up with some ribbon and attach a card that says ‘Thanks a Bunch”, for an easy but thoughtful thank-you gift. If a friend is having dinner party make a floral arrangement for the food table with flowers from your garden and veggies such as bell peppers for a unexpected surprise and a great pop of color that will complement the flowers.
