Stephanie & Matt’s Downtown Detroit wedding will be incomparable to them, not only because it was their wedding day, but because the décor fit their personality; which is something that we, Emerald City Designs, have been able to successfully do over the past 19 years. September is a great month to get married in Michigan, the sun is warm but there is a cool breeze and this day was no exception to that.  Their ceremony was at the stunning, St. Josephat Church in Detroit, and the reception was held at the historic Westin Book Cadillac in downtown Detroit. The color palette of plum, white, and green is the perfect combination for this ballroom. Our expert designers created amazing elevated centerpieces out of curly willow branches, hydrangeas, roses, spray roses, silver dollar, and a favorite of ours, dusty miller. The plum lighting created an energetic atmosphere for the guests to dance the night away in. The day was captured by the ever-so talented photographer, Images of Style by Monica.
