It will be about a year since Jennifer and David tied the knot at Martha Mary Chapel! I can still remember their breathtaking reception held at Eagle Tavern located within Greenfield Village. From the moment you walked up to the tavern guest were surrounded by beautiful floral pieces consisting of lush wreaths filled with hydrangeas, waxflowers, roses, viburnum, alstromeria, stock, and lilac. Pedestal arrangements mirroring the same floral as the wreaths welcomed guest at the front door for the tavern. Once inside the eclectic and cozy reception guest were welcomed to a room of gorgeous latte and white pin tuck textiles and low floral arrangements. What an amazing turn out we experienced at Emerald City Designs this past Saturday. Hopefully you were able to attend the event and see all the breathtaking table settings our Expert Designers created. Emerald City Designs will be hosting their second Style Showcase for 2012 on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Metro Detroit Bride will be sponsoring the event and distributing the latest magazine to all attendants. Saturday, October 29^th was a beautiful day for Jessica and Joe to tie the knot at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti. After being pronounced husband and wife, guests traveled to the Plymouth Meeting House for the reception. Emerald City Designs created an amazing atmosphere by placing ivory chair covers, latte pin tuck table clothes and a mixture of low arrangements and elevated. Burgundy roses and alstromeria, purple kale and green hydrangeas were some of the floral used for these pieces. Jessica created gorgeous silk floral pieces that were placed on each table. Mike Staff Productions did a tremendous job on all the photos!

Domonique and Darryl knew they wanted a quick engagement along with a smooth planning process. With so much to complete in a short amount of time they invested in Emerald City Designs Full Service Planning. Our Expert Planners were with Domonique & Darryl throughout their entire planning process and helped secure all the details for the big day. The Townsend Hotel located in Birmingham was the perfect location for their “Diamond & Pearl” theme. Domonique’s custom hand tied bouquet was designed with dark to light pink roses and hydrangeas in a tear drop cascade design with crystals and pearls accented within the floral. Moving to the reception every guest table was dripping with pearls and diamonds! Each table displayed a very classic full elevated arrangement and at the base was a collection of gold brushed cylinder vases and candles. The room was absolutely stunning.
